Mindy here! On Saturday Glenn and Tammy loaded up the motorcycles and they took both of us! Yep, Ebony and Mindy together on a road trip! I got to ride with Glenn and Ebony road with Tammy.
The trip to the coast was a lot of run. We had people driving up along side of us and smiling. Some people even took pictures. Wonder if we will see those pictures on the web any time soon? Darn paparazzi... Never give us a moment of peace and they make our lives "ruff" he he he.
Anyway, we stopped at a rest area up in the mountains for a little bit. That was kind of fun. Good thing too. We both had to "do our business" and stretch our poor little legs after sitting in the tank bags for almost an hour. But then we got back on the bikes and headed out.
Not more than a few minutes later we started smelling something we had never smelled before. Yep, we were at the beach! So much water and funny dirt that was very squishy. Ebony didn't want to walk on it at first. Me, I was so excited to check it all out that I stuck my nose down and started sniffing. Oops! Yes the sand went right up my nose and I started sneezing. That wasn't much fun. I am sure I caught Ebony laghing at me for that stunt. We headed to the water. Oh the water. It came to get us then moved away and then came back again. So strange. We got to walk all the way out to the edge then everyone ran away when a big wave came in.
We walked around and had lunch and even tried to chace some of the birds that kept coming to the picnic table. We couldn't get them because we had to stay on our chains. Its a dogs life some times. Then after a while we got back on the motorcycles and headed home. The weather was great but we were both very tired after all of our running around. So we tucked down into our tank bags and took naps most of the way home.
Later that night, I had a nice dream of the beach. I must have been making noises because Glenn patted my tummy and said it was ok. Silly guy. I was just having a nice time chasing those birds and he kept me from catching them again.
Well, Ebony and I just can't wait until our next adventure!
