I have done this ride several times now and really enjoy it. Today Jamie took my in the cage to see if we could find them all. Using the phone GPS was quite fun as I was using the internet to find the locations of the bridge and then Navigation to go to the bridges. Well I kept losing signal so I couldn't connect to the internet to get the coordinates. We also almost ran out of gas and had to go back to Scio to get gas after the Larwood bridge. But it was a beautiful day and a really nice ride. There is some great country out that way. Jamie took pictures with her phone and after loading them in Picasa I found the cooridinates were on the pictures and Picasa also mapped the pictures. So here is a link to the pictures and the map. Ok Eric! So are you going to lead a ride of "covered bridges" as soon as you get back on two wheels! I'll go! And the wheelchair doesn't count! It's got two front training wheels! Hope to see you soon! Mary and I've gone for 3 fairly short rides on my Nighthawk. It's really a poor power comparison to the 1100. But it's a really sweet engine! I can see why people like the GSXR, the FJR1300, ...... Those in line fours are amazingly smoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth!!!!! Not to mention they wrap the rpms really easily. Take care and heal fast!

I sure am glad to hear that your leg is mending well, and that you are able to talk about riding. I hope I'm there for your first ride.
