We had planned on going for a lunch ride but since no one was joining us we changed our plans. Tammy remembered that the Good Vibrations Rally was going on. It was originally going to be in Keizer but the exact details were up in the air last I heard. So we headed to Keizer where the registration point was just to find out that all of the entertainment was happening back in Salem. It wasn't very well publicized if you ask me. We drove by on the way out and they were just setting up so we didn't realize what was going on at the water front. But they had a few signs out on the way back. Not that we needed them at that point.

Now we got there just as things were getting going and we didn't take part in the poker run, 50/50 drawing or any of the other activities so I can't give much in the way of details. But there were a lot of bikes and things had just gotten started. On the second day (Sunday) there was some sort of precession from Keizer over to the Salem water front and that must have been a sight to see but I missed out on that. I wasn't all that interested in a rally this year but what we did take part in was pretty cool.

Here are some pictures. I think if they do it again next year it will be better publicized and organized and I will do more to check it out.

Jamie drove me by Saturday and Sunday and it looked like a lot of bikes were there. Sunday Jamie went in a got me a T-shirt. I hope this becomes an annual thing as I really want to go next year. Thanks for the pictures and story Glenn.
